Who is the Vulnerable U community?

VulnU is a vibrant community where dedicated security professionals come together each week. Our readers come to stay ahead with the latest cybersecurity news that we break down into digestible, easy to understand snippets. But let’s be honest, people stay for the ICYMI section. IYKYK.

Our diverse subscriber base includes hands-on security pros and top-level executives. You'll also find entrepreneurs, founders, and even a few venture capitalists in the mix.

What Does Sponsorship Look Like?

Sponsors can share a report, announce an event, publish open positions, or anything else your company wants to share with the Vulnerable U audience.

The promotion will be included in:

  • The newsletter sent to VulnU subscribers (example)

  • The Twitter thread (example) and LinkedIn post (example) announcing the new issue

Our sponsors can be found in a cozy, visible spot right before the newsletter summary section block in the newsletter.

Note: social announcements are generally pulled from the sponsorship copy, but crafted to fit each audience and the Vulnerable U voice.

Your company, if desired, will be @Referenced on the relevant social media platform.

The Vulnerable Difference

At VulnU, we prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on cultivating a community of genuinely engaged readers. We actively manage our subscriber list by reaching out to inactive members and refining our acquisition strategies to ensure that our audience is not just large, but interested and involved.

This means that when you sponsor us, you're connecting with true enthusiasts—each one a devoted follower, not just a number.

What the security community is saying about VulnU

This newsletter is prime as an ongoing manual for how to achieve that sense of self and apply it to both technical and business work -- and, even our personal lives. I look forward to it every week.

Jenn Leggio, COO

I've known Matt for over a decade and he is the rare security professional who can talk code one minute, and board-level risk discussion the next. Matt also brings a pragmatic attitude to security, slicing through the hype to know what issues truly matter.

Shit dancer though, unless you like gophers.

Rich Mogull, CEO Securosis

Time is the most precious resource I have as a founder in the security space and Vulnerable U gives me exactly the news that I need to stay up to date without any of the BS. Do yourself a favor and subscribe right now.
